Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and works as a SportsCenter News Anchor. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. It is this skill that helped her get her first role as an Univision producer assistant Miami. In Miami, she worked with the producers of television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then, the CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009, she relocated from Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reporting on stories on drugs and immigration issues from both sides of the Mexico-Texas border, she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5 pm, a news reporter with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, the news anchor was on until 10pm before returning to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. Soon after the family split up, and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo remarried. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was on a time of summer when she was with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she would like her life to be like, visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school suited her. It was an amazing campus. It also gave her the degree she wanted. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university as a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station director of WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
